The National Ukrainian Ballet is a heritage with a two-hundred-year history, the origins of which were V. Nezhinsky and S. Lifar. The Ukrainian school of classical ballet released into the world a lot of stars.
The National Ukrainian Ballet project presents a unique collection of the classical heritage of the Ukrainian ballet school. Authentic classical choreography by M. Petipa, M. Fokin, and F. Taglioni is intertwined with the unforgettable sounds of music by P. Tchaikovsky, C. Pugni, L. Minkus, and J. Offenbach.
The magnificent filigree performance of classical choreography by Ukrainian ballet stars always impresses even the most sophisticated spectator.

What to expect from Classic Ballet?
Beautiful “Pas de deux” of the famous classical performances “La Sylphide” and “Swan Lake” with their tenderness and weightlessness will leave an unforgettable mark on the soul of the viewer.
The bright and dynamic performances of “The Flames of Paris”, “Don Quixote”, and “Walpurgis Night” will ignite the fire inside the hearts and bring real pleasure.
The Orientalism of the East and the coolness of northern Norway will enliven the melodies of E. Grieg, taking the viewer along with the heroes of “Peer Gynt” by G. Ibsen will remind theater-goers of strength, the actions of “Spartacus” – the thirst for freedom and devotion.
The concert is permeated with drama & love, lyrics & beauty, poetry & emotion. The majestic “Grand Pas” from the ballet “Paquita” is the final apotheosis of the classical heritage of the National Ukrainian Ballet, in which, to the music of L. Minkus; the spirit, beauty, pathos, and graphic quality of the classical ballet of the early 19th and late 20th centuries are majestically brought together.
The rollicking corsairs to the music of A. Adan will incite, and the tender Nikiya will resurrect love tights with the help of the harp cadenza by L. Minkus.
Elite art founded by Louis XVI, continues to live to this day and exclusively pleases the audience through new forms and new meanings. Some are eternal while others are relevant to today’s time.

In this tour we present a performance consisting of selected sections of the most popular classical ballets.
National Ukrainian Ballet is a unique theater consisting of the brightest. Stars of the Opera and Ballet Theaters of Ukraine. All our soloists performed the main roles in classical ballets in leading theaters in Ukraine and in other countries. Thanks to this, we can please our viewers with an extremely wide choice of repertoire, which is simply impossible in a theater with a limited number of soloists and ballet stars.
